From a very early age, this little puppy was introduced to the hiking lifestyle. When he was younger, his humans would take him out for little adventures where he perched inside a puppy backpack. They gradually introduced him to longer hikes and trails, where he continued to walk shorter lengths on his own. By the time he was a year and a half old, his humans took him to all of their long distance and higher-altitude treks.
